AMBA Innovation Award for the Executive MBA

Dear readers,
I am very proud that we were awarded the AMBA Innovation Award for our Executive MBA program. Self-praise is no recommendation and we are fully aware that we need to continue to work hard in order to make our programs even better.
The Association of MBAs has launched the MBA Innovation Award to promote the value and significance of innovation within MBA programs. A judging panel made up of Sir Paul Judge, President of the Association of MBAs, Peter Lacy, Managing Director Accenture Sustainability and Emeritus Professor Andrew Lock from the University of Leeds assessed the entries from a range of business schools presenting innovative practices and new approaches in management education.

Our Executive MBA was commended for having “developed a new sharpened and expert-oriented Executive MBA programme with an adaptive and modular structure. The leadership concept is highly unbureaucratic and executive-oriented.”
We thank the jury and I pass this thanks on to my team and everyone who is working with me to realize our concept of a business school of the future.

Yours,
Peter Lorange

AMBA is the sole professional membership association for over 9,000 MBA students and graduates, accredited business schools and MBA employers.

This time, I don’t want to say to much but just share with you the wonderful AMBA movie. Enjoy!

Accredited by the Association of MBA

Dear reader!

I have truly good news for all of us: on May 25 the Lorange Institute of Business was awarded the diploma for being AMBA accredited. We received the accreditation at the end of the past year.

This is might look just like a small step for me as president; but it represents another important milestone in our efforts to establish ourselves as The Business School of the Future.

This would not have been possible without the work and the support of the whole Lorange Team ! Thank you, and a special thank goes to Dr. Carl Jung, my associate dean, Anja Stein and Julia Flueckiger, who are program manager for the Executive MSc and the Executive MBA programs.

By the way: eight schools received an accreditation, 2 from China, 2 from India, 1 from Saudi Arabia, 1 from France, 1 from Canada and we from Switzerland.

I had the joy to recently received the diploma and will shortly share one or two pictures with you.

Kind regards,
Peter Lorange

We could also renew the validation of our degrees by the University of Wales for another five years. Morevoer, our programs are certified by both eduQua, the first Swiss quality label for continuing education, and the Private School Register, Switzerland, a register to certify high standards of educational services . We are now going through the accreditation process for EPAS and AACSB.

Sustainability – Key to the Fundação Dom Cabral

Dear all

last year I was invited by the Fundação Dom Cabral. The brazilian organisation contributes to the sustainable development of companies by means of training and education of executives, managers and organizations.

This business school got top rankings among the brazilian business schools and is, as the Lorange Institue, accredited by the Association of MBA, AMBA.

On the occasion of my visit, I was interviewed and would like to share with you this moment.

Yours,
Peter Lorange
